This Week’s Magnified Fragment is E4

Hi and welcome back to the Chrissie Murphy Designs Blog. This week’s Magnified Fragment is E4. So without further ado, let’s get into it and have a look at the enhancer we’ll be using. I’ve also included links to some resources you might find helpful for this week.

Here’s a quick sketch of what the fragment looks like as a reference for you.

This week’s Magnified Fragment Enhancer is to Untangle

This week’s Magnified Fragment Enhancer is to Untangle.

This idea was also suggested by Catherine McKittrick – @TheTangledArtISTCZT and is based on the idea of leaving a significant portion of your tile untangled. I see it as a nod to minimalism.

I know I find the thought of this very challenging as I naturally want to fill a tile with tangles. But this challenge is about NOT doing that. Leave as much of your tile as tangle free as you can while still honouring the fragment.

It will be a challenge 🙂 but you can do it! I know you can.

Some resources to help you with this week’s Magnified Fragment

This is an idea I haven’t been able to find specific resources for. But having said that, I know it’s not a new idea – it’s something that’s been around for a while.

Hopefully the explanation above is enough of a representation about what we’re doing this week. If you have any questions though, please send me a message.

Don’t forget

If you have any ideas for an enhancer, leave me a comment and we’ll feature them in upcoming fragments.

It’s never to late to join in, the more the merrier. Just tag your tile with #MagnifiedFragments and I’ll see it, share it and add it to our gallery.
