Hi and welcome back to the Chrissie Murphy Designs Blog. This week’s Magnified Fragment is E2. So without further ado, let’s get into it and have a look at the enhancer we’ll be using. I’ve also included links to some resources you might find helpful for this week.

This Week’s Magnified Fragment is E2
Here’s a quick sketch of what the fragment looks like as a reference for you.
This week’s Magnified Fragment Enhancer is the No Mistakes, Light and Dark Technique
This week’s Magnified Fragment Enhancer is the No Mistakes, Light and Dark Technique.
The ‘No Mistakes’ philosophy has been with Zentangle from the very beginning. In their Project Pack 6, they explore the concept much more deeply after a journal of Maria’s was accidentally covered in black ink in various parts.
Maria never considered the journal ruined, instead, she worked with the black ink marks. She tangled and played with light and dark concepts throughout her journal.
I strongly recommend viewing the first resource I’ve listed below to help you understand this technique further.

Some resources to help you with this week’s Magnified Fragment
I suggest viewing all of Zentangle’s Project Pack 6 videos, but I strongly recommend viewing the introduction video below. It explains the No Mistakes philosophy and the Light and Dark technique Maria worked with in her journal.
Margaret Bremner CZT shares some photos of her Project Pack 6 exploration in this blog post.

I would also recommend checking out the hashtag #PP06 on Instagram to see everyone’s tangles from Project Pack 6 which focused on the technique we’re using this week.
