Hi friend, I know you will have noticed that I posted my Connect with the Creator content as a blog post tonight, instead of my usual organic Facebook or Instagram post. I had one of those “doh!” moments when I realised my blog is all about Connecting Creative’s to the Creator through the Beauty of Art and Craft, yet there’s no Connecting with the Creator posts! Doh! I thought I’d better make that right… so, from now on, my Connect with the Creator posts will all be via the blog.
At the start of this year I posted about using the power of one to build an art community. One community, with many people where everyone’s valued. I believe community is a very beautiful thing, and I don’t think we realise how beautiful it actually is. When people from all walks of life come together with a common interest that unites, change happens.
I think it’s the unity that’s beautiful, because people united will never be defeated. They have that conqueror’s mindset (which is exactly what we’ve been working toward achieving). As each person takes their place, as they stand tall in the community and know they are where they belong, confidence will begin to grow. Then what you have is a group of people who are confident in their purpose that are united by a common interest. I believe that if we are living and creating like this, we will change the world as artists.
Everything I’ve just shared is the vision the Lord has given me for Chrissie Murphy Designs – building a community through the power of one. As I work every week to connect you to the Creator through the beauty of art and craft, I’m believing for this community to be established and for it to grow.
So, I’m stepping out in faith and over the next week or two, I will be launching a Facebook Group that’s sole focus is THIS!
1️⃣ Connecting creative’s to the Creator through the beauty of art and craft
2️⃣ Uniting people with a common interest (art)
3️⃣ Helping creative’s claim their place in the community
4️⃣ Helping creative’s grow in confidence and ooze it for the rest of the world to see.
What will it look like? These yellow flowers sum it up perfectly….
There’s a group of us together, but we’re separate. We are the same, but we’re different. When you capture us all at once doing our thing, we are beautiful! When artists unite.
I hope you’ll join me. There will be more details to come over the next week or two so stay tuned to facebook for updates. In the meantime, let me tell you a little secret…. my email subscribers new all about this before I ever posted it here. If you want the heads up on things before the rest of the world, if you’re after the latest news, shop discounts and the odd freebie or two, you’ve gotta sign up to my email list.
Until then, connect with the Creator, let Him inspire you. His magnificence and beauty is everywhere, even in art and craft.
